Madhu Sravanthi Garikipati hails from a musical family in Hyderabad, India. Her artistic journey began at the tender age of four, under the tutelage of her father, the renowned Carnatic and Light music vocalist and composer, Sri.G.V.Prabhakar.
Madhu began composing and producing music at the young age of 11. Her creative explorations encompass a wide range of genres, including bollywood, orchestral, pop, folk, and South Indian light music. Her compositions and music direction for notable projects like feature film "Valliddarimadhya," the web series "Love@65" and "Merevaru," have garnered acclaim. She has also collaborated with various brands to produce impactful television and radio commercials aired globally.
Madhu's experience includes collaborations with a distinguished roster of artists, including S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Yazin Nizar, Kalpana Raghavendar, Vedala Hemachandra to name a few. She has also collaborated with Oscar Winning Chandrabose, Ramajogayya Sastry, and many other lyricists. She has further enriched her career by working with esteemed directors like K Raghavendra Rao, VN Aditya, Relangi Narasimha Rao and many more.
Madhu Sravanthi Garikipati engages audiences as the host of "Beyond Borders" on WTJU (91.1 FM). She previously served as a production assistant for the program "Tell us a tale" with Peter Jones. Additionally,she hosts "Made In India" on Radio Surabhi 104.9 FM.
Madhu's leadership extends beyond the recording studio. She served as the artist coordinator for SPICMACAY (The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) at the University of Virginia,Charlottesville. Currently, she holds the position of cultural music director at S.S.Music Academy, Hyderabad, India,where she leads the cultural committee in producing numerous musical projects.
Madhu Sravanthi participated and won number of State-wide and Nation-wide prestigious competitions in India starting at the age of 6. She has achieved "Centennial Music Record" presented by Wonder book of World records with 100 participants, celebrating 100 years of Indian panorama.
