Madhu Sravanthi Garikipati comes from a music-oriented family in Hyderabad, India. She started learning Indian Carnatic Music and Light Music at the age of 4 from her father Sri. G.V.Prabhakar, renowned Carnatic & Light music singer as well as a music composer. She is a passionate singer who can perform several genres such as film, folk, western, pop and Carnatic classical.
Her compositions and music direction in notable projects such as "Valliddarimadhya" and web series like "Love@65" and "Merevaru" have showcased her talent.
Madhu started composing and producing music at the age of 11, she likes to experiment with several genres of music such as orchestral, pop, folk, new age and south Indian light music.
She served as the artist coordinator for SPICMACAY (The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) at University of Virginia, Charlottesville. And the cultural music director at S.S.Music Academy, Hyderabad, India where she leads the cultural committee to plan several concerts.
Additionally, Madhu Sravanthi hosts a radio show “Beyond borders” on WTJU (91.1FM) and served as a production assistant for the show “Tell us a tale” with Peter Jones.
